BELMATEO
SCOUTING.
I’m Ollie Enock, a coach in the Bay Area with a growing focus on scouting and recruitment. This site brings together selected scouting reports and notes from my work across the last few years.

COACHING
SHAPES THE VIEW.
Working with players on the pitch has shaped what I look for on video: not just the action, but the decision before it, the movement around it and whether the player can repeat it.
Understand the context.Belmateo Scouting · Bay Area
I coach across college, competitive club and high-school soccer. That work keeps me close to the day-to-day details of the game; how roles change from team to team, what a coach asks of a player, and which decisions make a difference.
Alongside coaching, I put together scouting reports and follow players across the college and professional game. I’m interested in recruitment that remains practical: what the player does well, where there are limits, and whether their strengths suit the level and role being considered. Belmateo Scouting is a place to collect my reports and make my thinking available to others working in the game.
